Phantom Dispute

Hey guys can someone weigh in if this has ever happened to them; I was going over my credit report and in the remarks for my Cap1 card it says "Dispute resolved; reported by grantor". What does this mean? And will it have a negative affect on me getting new lines of credit? Last month I was transfered to fraud because I was paying from a different checking account than usual but it was cleared up the same day, could this be the culprit? Any theories would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Phantom Dispute

Someone else here recently had a similar experience with Chase account when simply sending secured message for a general question about credit reporting. I'd say it's a plausible assumption that talking with fraud department resulted in this remark.

Won't affect your ability to get new credit by any means, though.
