Hmm. I have a closed CC account that the credit grantor closed because of unknown reason.  My account history with them has been in good standing, and it's one of my oldest accounts.  They said they cannot reopen, I would have to apply for a new card. Anyways, the CL is 1800, and balance is 1000 which is high.  It is a Sears card.  It DOES report, because my credit reports show everything, the balance and credit limit.

None of my closed accounts count towards utilization at all. I find FICO rounds up on you. If your ut is 1.00001% it shows 2% utilization.
