A couple of quick questions. When the MOV is requested, and the Credit bureau, more specifically Experian, sends the standard message informing you that it was done electronically, and that the person requesting MOV should refer to the report for name and address..Is this all that they are required to do???????
I sent letters to all three bureaus, requesting a complete verification of all data, for completeness and accuracy, and the investigation was still done electronically. Do I have the right to request a manual verification? Equifax, verified the illegal reporting of one account. Their results stated" we have verified this account belongs to you". But for the other disputed account with Equifax the results stated" we have verified the correct reporting of this account".
This leads me to believe that Equifax did not verify the reporting on the first account as I requested, because they did not state so, only stated that they verified it belong to me. When I called the rep. claimed they verified all that was in my letter. Experian it seems to me does electronic no matter what.
To sum up, do the credit bureaus have to do a manual instead of electronic if requested, and can experian provide that standard response when on requests the MOV?
