I am trying to move to another city which is yuma, AR (where their is %26 unemployment for over 10 years and before that it was over %36!) from New Jersey. So if I move to such a high unemployment city will CCC have a problem with that? Meaning, will they decrease or close my account because of moving to a place with such above normal unemployment? I have 4 years of credit history and 6 CC with no negative on my CR.
1. Should I change the address if the move is only temporary (but at least for a 2-3 months)?
2. If I do not change address will they know and if i only change address on some old CCs but not the two new ones I had about a month ago?
3. Can someone please tell me from experience if their CCL decreased or CC closed because moving to such areas where their unemployment rate is above normal then national rate?
The address will not cause the crediter to make any decisions you have described. Your apyment history will cause it. The way the creditros will know if you apply for credit while their using a local address or if you change your address with them. I would be concerned about the address change if you are receiving paper statements via the US mail.even then you can have your mail forwarded.
Are you speaking from experience?
Also, what makes you so sure, since I have read some where that If you move to an area with unusually high unemployment the Credit companies take notice and they POTENTIALLY COULD degrade your credit limit or possibly close account.
