I was able to get it to work on my second try, around 1AM eastern time. It went right to the automated system which was as far as I could tell identical to the regular CCT number in terms of the questions asked. Thanks again for the tip and providing this new number for cancellation! I think it will help a lot of people since the old one doesn't appear to send you to the automated system anymore, ever.
I'm glad it worked for you too!
And happy to help everyone if I can!

Out of curiosity, is there a reason why you've never done a $1 trial yourself? I would think with your vested interest in scores and since you do recommend the $1 trials very often that you'd be eager to see the process at least once for yourself just for the hands-on experience.
You are right. I really should have done it before. It's just that I have never needed to do it as a benefit purely for myself. I have access to my reports for free through other tools and I get free FICO 8 scores with all my credit cards -- so there's been nothing to really give me that extra push to do it.
I'd love to see your writeup (and new thrread) when you do it. Maybe a month from now?
Understood.
Yeah, about a month from now sounds about right. That will give me some time to give it some thought, revisit some old threads and make sure that I don't leave anything out. I find this new cancellation number to be one of the greatest developments as of late to be honest, so it will need to be included in the thread for sure! Off to pull my 3B reports/scores from CCT again right now... as it's been a week and time for my "free" second pull...
