ok im new to this so hopefully this comes out right.

anyways i disputed a judgment (a 5000) that wasnt mine on 2/25 (online) and I called around 3/15 and was told that it was deleted however it still shows on my report. When i let TransU know they said "b/c you have other pending disputes we wont update the report till 5/1. at that time it will be removed". is that right? if it was proved not to be mine then dammit remove it. how can they still report it weeks after it has been so called deleted? how can it be so called deleted if its not showing deleted on my end? please someone tell me. thanx.

Welcome Williasn !

You are in the right place

It took TU about 10 days to update my credit report and see the final results of deleted items. I heard others took them more than that and it depends if they have finished investigating all the items or not. If they are still investigating, then most likely you will not see change until everything is done. good luck!

Where are you pulling your reports from? Are you updating them?

That has been my experience with Transunion as well. Your report is basically "frozen" until they finish the disputes you have open.

they should send you a report by mail also--when they are done.

thanx everyone...

i have true credit and i update everyday it seems. and i of course use this site and i just updated my report today and the judgment is still there.

i guess i should be patient because my TU report jumped 20 points after i got a jan 08' macys 30 day late removed

same thing happened to me.. mailed in 2 disputes they sent me a letter saying I gave them 15 extra days then about five days letter I got an update with BOTH disputes on them deleted.
