Last week, I ordered my all three of my credit reports through annualcreditreports.com. I got copies from TransUnion and Experian. Equifax sent me to this screen where I could not find the PDF copy. I was running late to a doctor's appointment and since they said I could access it for thirty days, I just let it go for the time being. WhenI went back to the website, they said my account did not exisit, though I know I set one up to access the report. I called customer service and explained the situation. I was told by the representative and his supevistor that I must EMAIL a photocopy of my social security card and drivers license as well as a letter requesting my free report to this general email box. I told them that I am very uncomfortable doing this and don't mind using regular mail, but they said they can't do that. Still refusing to do it, they advisd me to send an email to their general customer service box and haven't heard anything for over a week. Any suggestions? I think it is absolutely crazy to email pictures of my social security card and drivers license to a general email box.
