Public consulting group HP?

Looking for some information on this company. My DS had an alert for an HP from Public Consulting Group in Boston. It said installment loan inquiry. He hasn’t applied for any new credit. Pull is dated today and it’s Thanksgiving so business are closed. He did request what he thought would be soft pull CLI’s on Cap1, Amex and Disco yesterday. Anyone with any of these cards ever get an HP from this company? They pulled Experian. Kind of worried about fraud -any information would be greatly appreciated. I’m worried. 🙁Thanks in advance.

And no, requesting a CLI from Cap1, Amex and Disco shouldn't result in a HP.

Your "DS" (what is that?) might consider freezing his credit reports.

Yes I looked them up they didn’t seem like they offer any credit products. Info listed was address 148 State St. Boston and business type: Resellers/Miscellaneous. Very odd.

Unsure as to why a Consulting Company would even be doing a HP, should probably contact them to find out why. Most places just seeking information only do SP's, because consent is needed for a HP.

I called the company and then they give me another number then I called the number no one answered, I’m guessing is mass health

The second number was Mass Gov

Surprising several people are getting these. I'd definitely contact them to see why and dispute if not resolved.
