Public record concern

I recently noticed on my transunion credit report an open judgment 02/05  from the bank I had a mortgage with-however, I filed bankruptcy in 4/05 and I included my mortgage  in the papers and  my bankruptcy was discharged 8/05. I am so confused because in the report under credit colllections this same bank has my mortgage listed as a foreclosure with a 0 balance. I filed chapter 7 and it was my understanding that all of the accounts included in bankruptcy should read "included in bankruptcy with a 0 balance.  Can someone please help me understand the difference between public records and credit collections?  In addition, since my bankruptcy was discharged, I have not received any letters or calls from attorneys regarding this. Thanks.

Re: Public record concern

I recently called the small claims division in our district court and was told that to get it changed on the credit report I only had to bring them in my BK information.  Case number and the matrix that showed the listing of the judgement debt etc.  The clerk is then notifying the 3 bureau's that the judgement was IIB and no liability existed.  I was told that I didn't need to "vacate" or anything like that.  I have disputed with all three bureaus and am just waiting for their replies.
