QUESTION PLEASE HELP

I FINACE A CAR BACK IN 97 THE ACCOUNT SHOWS ON MY CR  AS  CLOSE PAID IN FULL BUT MY CREDIT REPORT SAID MY OLDEST ACCOUNT IS 3 YEARS OLD.  THAT ACCOUNT IS 11 YEARD OLD.

Which CR said this and where did you pull it from. If it is on your report now, and comments in the report says that the history isn't coming into play, then look at the dates if that account. Maybe a date was changed to reflect a recent open date. When did you pay off the car?

Carlos, review you CR and see if the reports showing the lower oldest account age are still showing the old car loan.  The CRAs, as a general policy, drop accounts from your CR once closed in good standing after 10 years.  Old loans do not stay in your CR for perpituity.

That account was paid off on 2002 it is reporting now but according to  equifax my oldest account is 3 years old.

Out of curiosity I would pull the TU myFICO report to see what that says about your oldest account.

Bummer. I was hoping to use the positive and negative factors on pgs 2-3 of the TU FICO report as a comparison to the EQ report.
 
Did you dispute the account at all? If in dispute, the history will not be included on the report.
