Question about Judgments?

I've had a couple of judgments against me and I had my wages garneished and got them paid off. Im looking at my EQ CR and noticed that alot of information about the judgments are not listed and places are just blank. example below....

Type:                                                  Judgment

Date filed:                                           04/2007

Case number:                                     200xxxxxxxx

Court # and name:                             (blank)

Court address:                                    1234 city buld
                                                             abc wa 98746
                                                             1(206)456-4783

Plaintff:                                                  Joe Blow

Amount:                                                   $541

Status:                                                   (blank)

date reported:                                         N/A

Satisfied Date:                                        (blank)

Verified Date:                                           (blank)

I wanted to know if any of the information left blank could be a reason to place a dispute and maybe get them removed?  Just trying to cover all my bases and try whatever i can. Thanks

Re: Question about Judgments?

Yes you can dispute- (file a motion to vacate) this but only at the courthouse.  Go to creditinfocenter.com and search on judgement.  -Or you can send a letter to the courthouse with the case number (which you have) for proof of the judgement.  Then if you have signed the paperwork you will need to contact the plaintiff.  If not -you now have a valid reason to go to court for a motion to vacate the judgement.  Hope that helps!

Re: Question about Judgments?

If your judgments were paid off, you should have received a satisfaction paper that would need to be filed at the court house. The court house office would report to the CRA's that the judgment was satisfied. It may or may not come off of your CR then.

I recently found out about a lien that was not reported as paid from 2002 and they are correcting the mistake now.
