We had applied for a secured card for her and she got the unsecured card. Not exactly sure how it worked out for her. We definitley were not going to complain. We just wanted to try and apply for a mortgage in March 2012. So we only have about three months. Just was not sure if we would have to wait 6 months for Equifax and Transunion to generate her a score.
Where did you pull her scores, a CMS (credit montioring service) or did you pull them from the CRA's directly?
What was her TU score?
That's awesome that they approved her for an unsecured card and a great CL to boot!
I really do not know too much about having no credit score and how long it takes FICO to generate one, after opening a new TL, but according to the other repliers, it's about 6-7 months.
Yea, her TU came back with no record found so she doesn't have a score through them. Maybe our best bet is them pulling her Experian with the negatives because her credit card will show up. The negatives are all in dispute due to her insurance company was supposed to pay them but missed them at the time of her surgery.

Sorry about that, I meant what was her EX score.
You will not be able to get her EX FICO sadly, EX stoped selling their FICO's back in Feb 2009 if I remember correctly.
Her EX score through Freecreditreport was 555. Its low but I think its wrong.

All the scores from FCR are Plus scores and are worthless. No lender uses them.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

Yea, something I've learned after paying them for almost a year and a half and my personal score not moving a point despite having almost 10 items removed from my credit that were negative. I'll be subscribing to here soon. My scores varied almost 75 points, and I have a feeling that once my new cards hit, and I make payments for a few months on them, my score should be favorable for a mortgage. Maybe even my girlfriends too!
