I have 2 strange account review inquiries on my credit report from last month. One of the companies is a old collection agency i paid off years ago and the other one i have never heard of before; nor know what it is or why they would be pulling my credit report for any reason. There are no unaccounted for collections left unpaid so i am not understanding why these companies are pulling my credit report but they are:
crown asset management
galaxy asset management
Both pulled on the same day. I have never heard of galaxy and crown is the one i paid off years ago and still have my receipt so there is no reason for them to be pulling my report for a account review. These are not hard pulls but account review pulls.
If anyone can provide me with any information as to what/why they pulled on the same day and are pulling at all i would greatly apprciate it. Any advice would also be much appreciated as I am unsure what this even means.

It happens. Soft pulls wont do any harm. I wouldnt put much into it. No harm no foul. You should see my CK soft pulls. Pages long.

You've noticed unexpected account review inquiries from Crown Asset Management and Galaxy Asset Management on your credit report. Despite paying off Crown Asset Management years ago, both companies pulled your report on the same day. To investigate, dispute the inquiries with the credit bureaus, monitor your credit report, and consider a credit freeze if necessary.
