Question about becoming an "authorized user" and how it affects statute of limitations

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for some time.

How do AUs work?

As an AU, you are not a signatory to the account, and thus have no payment obligations.

Your SOL is set based on your contracted obligations for debt payment on your accounts.  So, no, there is no legal basis for looking at your AU status on the account of another as a basis for resetiing any credit reporting or statute of limiatons on your own contracted credit.
