Question about how FICO obtains information from actual CR.

Hello!

My TU report from FICO is showing a collection as an 'account', which has been late two times supposedly. I wasnt aware that collections can be late LOL.

This is entirely incorrect. My actual hard copies show the accounts as actual collections, with no lates, and definitely does not show the collection as an account.

Now, this is only on my TU report from MyFICO...my EX/EQ reports are reporting correctly.

Any information on how to change this or what is happening? Thanks for any input.

Re: Question about how FICO obtains information from actual CR.

FICO does not keep updated data for credit score generation.  Your credit score is not generated by FairIsaac, it is generated by the CRA.
FICO sells them the software, and they run their data through it.  Their license with FairIsaac permits them to sell the score as a FICO score.

When you are looking at your TU report on this site.........are you saying that an account is showing up under page 5 "accounts" instead of page 7 "collections"?
