I was just curious if inquiries drop off earlier than 2 years? For instance: I use the CreditCheck Monitoring (3in1) from usaa and looked over my report pulled from 02/10/2010. I had 6 inquiries that were just over a year old and 4 that were about 6 months old. When I pulled my report today, it only shows that I have 1 inquiry on my report. Is this normal?
I'm not sure. I looked on my Transunion report and notice all the inquires were deleted except for one. 4 of the inquiries were from Feb. and March 2010. Everything is still on Equifax and Experian.
Some of the CRAs have holes in their systems which lose INQs, at times. Other times, INQs will soften for no apparent reason--presumably also attributable to software holes.
