Question about items falling of the CR

I have two things on my TU credit report that says it is coming off 10/07.

Does this mean anytime in October or is it like, typically the last day of the month because they want to be an ass?

They count 12 months from the exact date of the inq (as far as score goes) and stay on 12 months more.  Mine dropped off on the exact day
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: Question about items falling of the CR

That brings me to my question. My wife just pulled her report and there were some things that were supposed to have fallen off either last year or this year. However it looks like they have reaged the account and it no longer states its going to fall off anytime soon. She just called me to tell me this and I'm waiting on her to email me her report....how do I combat this?

I was referring to two old medical collection accounts of mine that are showing falling off 10/2007.

That's a good question. I don't believe they are allowed to do this but I have heard of companies changing the account # thus changing the date. But let someone else give you a better answer than I can provide.

Re: Question about items falling of the CR

The CRAs  usually try for around the 15th of the month......that doesn't mean crap!

dispute it with all CRAs that show it as...too old to report!

Is this message for me?  If so, why would I dispute something that is falling off sometime this month? I'm just wondering typically when they fall off. The 2 collections in question are on my TU only. They other two are ok.
