I just received a notice from Myfico that there was a change on one of my accounts. this what the MyFico notice showed:

Account opened: 3/1998 Description: Charge off account Account closed by credit grantor Previously reported Newly reported Account balance: $8,688 $8,774
On a Equifax report from myfico on 8/28/07 this account shows date of last payment of 9/2004
With no date of last activity... does not list a charge off date nor a date closed and in the little payment history boxes... it shows a CO as of 8/2005 and previously there are just stars.. it is also listed as a revolving account
On a TransUnion report from myfico on 6/26/07 this account shows a lsat paymetn date of 9/2004 and date closed of 4/2003 it also lists the account as charged off however there is no further information. Under 7 year payment history: 30 days late 0 times 60 days late 0 times 90+days late 0 times. Is listed as a revolving account
On a Equifax report from myfico on 6/26/07, the same account shows says that is has an upaid balnalance reported as a loss by credit grantor. Says the date of last payment is 3/2003. lists the account as a credit card, term REV. in the 7 year payment history: 30 days late 1 time, 60 days late 5 times 90+ days late 26 times.. looks like it shows 4/2005 as the furthest back 90+days. there are no dates given for the 30 day or 60 day?
Now that I have listed my life on this account..
would someone mind explaining to me if the creditor can continue to make charges on an account that is listed as closed and charged off?
Is there a way to get this information removed from my reports?
Do I run the risk of them trying to collect?
I am in Colorado.
