Question on Hilco Receivables

I have a paid collection reporting on my CR by Hilco Receivables. I made a settelement and paid it off. I want to see if I can get that removed from CR completely. Should I make an offer to pay the rest of the balance if they are willing to remove this permanently from my CR? Did any one tried doing some thing like this with a Paid Collection to get it removed? Any suggestions?

I would send a DV and all the while save to pay the balance. A GW is probably out of the question because of the balance. A PFD is an option, but a DV would confirm the balance first. Some CAs will delete an acct if previously paid and they are DV'd becuase it takes time and money for them to comply.
