Question on TC reporting...

Hello,

Does anyone know how TC reports from the other CRAs?  I had two TLs on my TC reports (all 3) that were a student loan through Wells Fargo, and then that same loan through California Student Aid (debt was sold).  TU and EQ reported under California Student Aid, and EX was reporting under Wells Fargo.

I disputed the Wells Fargo TL and TC began reporting the California Student Aid (CSA) TL as Wells Fargo Bank N.A.  So, then I had 2 Wells Fargo TLs; one just Wells Fargo and the other Wells Fargo Bank N.A. (all other info. remained the same).  Once the results came back, I noticed the fall off date on the Wells Fargo Bank N.A. TL for TU was incorrect so called and disputed.

TC is now reporting CSA again, but only for TU; EX is still showing the CSA TL as Wells Fargo Bank N.A.  All of the info. between the CSA and Wells Fargo Bank N.A. is the same, my question is can TC correct this so they're under the same TL?  It looks now like I have three derog accts when there are only two.

These are all about to fall off anyway, so may not even bother trying, but thought I'd ask.

Thanks

Re: Question on TC reporting...

What TrueCredit reports comes from the CRA themselves.

Re: Question on TC reporting...

That makes sense, but it seems like TC is confusing the OC and the CA (State of California. Is this something I can call them and have corrected? I only want to speak with True Credit, not Transunion as I currently have a dispute pending with them. Thanks

Re: Question on TC reporting...

TC is not a CRA, so they can not change anything on your CR.

Re: Question on TC reporting...

TrueCredit is only providing you a service.  I would call TU and speak with them directly.  I got more accomplished when I called CRA then I did with just disputing information.
