Quick CO question

Hi all, I have a CO that was recently updated and now shows a balance with Ex. Should I dispute it as settled or closed? Or is this just grounds for the other CRA's to add a balance since it is now being paid.

If it is paid   dispute as inaccurate

Here's the thing....it is being paid and had I read prior post I would not have started to pay and just PFD in Jan. I disputed it because all 3 CRA's had something diff and it came back verified and with a bal owing--since I started paying it started reporting. It is just a bad deal but I guess I can still try to PFD in Jan. Thanks!

you can stop paying & PFD  with all payment arrangment that you have now. When you stop paying they might go for it. Make sure that all wording is right.

Best bet is write PFD letter with arrangments, and tell them to sign it and return it to you.

change this to add arrangments.

try sending a PFD letter.....short & to the point.

 I am prepaired to offer monthly payments until paid in full.  After receiving payment you  agree that you will  notify the credit reporting agencies to remove your entry on the above referenced account from my  credit report

you don't need to wait till Jan.  Do it now....just put aside what you would have paid each month.When they see that you are not paying  they might agree.
