REF and CAR LOAN NEEDED but LOW CREDIT SCORE

I need some help and some opinions in my financial situation.  Here is the deal.  I currently own a home with a pay off of 200,000.  The home appraises for 245,000.  The car that I am driving is currently in my brothers name and its a lease that I want to purchase because the lease expires in two months.  I can purchase that car for 20,000.  I have a low credit score 534 EQ, 580TR, 512 EXP.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me.  I want to refinance my mortgage because I am on a arm and its about to mature.  I live in Georgia and need some advice.  I have no BK or Foreclosures on my credit.  The reason my credit score is so low is because I am an authorized user on my sisters credit card and its maxed out at 20,000 and the credit card company stated they will not remove me until the balance is 0!  Also, I have two collections in the amount of 1000,and 862.  My yearly income is $61K

if you are an AU i do not understand why they will not remove you til a $0 balance. Since as an AU, you are not financially responsible for this debt.

Or am I mistaken. I thought the AU was being factored out since, folks get it, its listed as a TL, and then no responsibility for charges. that rests with the Owner of the account.

you just dispute online EQ . TU . EX , they will remove your name out , your score should go up after they remove your name out of that credit card . good luck .

As an AU you are not responsible for the BILL. Dispute with all CRA that shows this account as NOT MINE!

I did that on my hubby's as i had 1 late pmt & it was deleted from his CR
