Reaching Creditors

Hello,
I am new at this, but I was told that this website will be very helpful to me. I have reviewed my cresit report & I hav a few questions. I have a credit card from aback in 04 that I had stopped paying on but I just saw that is still acting as an open acct. & accruing interest, so what do I do? At the moment I cannot afford to start paying on it but the amount has exceeded $7000. Also, how do I contact any of the creditors if the contact info is not on the report? Finally, how hard do I need to attck my debt if I want to start seeing changes soon?

Thanks For the Help,

Re: Reaching Creditors

Best thing to do it to save some cash to offer a settlement.
Settlement for Delete- even better.

Be sure to read the Credit 101 thread.

I agree with Timothy try to get a pay for delete--I am sure you will see an increase in scores with that removed --good luck
