Realistic Credit Score Options

I have been reading this board faithfully every day for the past month. My current score is 510. I want to know is it realistically possible to increase my score at least 80-100pts in the next 6 months? I have no open accounts except school loans. Everything else is either in collections or closed off. What should I do?

Please post entire cred. hist. w/ baddies etc. so others can look at entire situation.

We need more info-

I personally raised 100 points under 4 months
and another 90 points 3 months after that.

I am so close to my 200 point goal in 1 year-

So YES it can be done.

I went up 146 points in 4 months. It can be done. It takes lots of patience and time too. If you don't have anything open you need at least 1 or 2 cards to help offset some of your baddies. I suggest an Orchard card and maybe a Target store card.
