Really poor credit score i believe is based on duplicate negative items on my credit report.

Ok this may be a little confusing at least it is to me. Maybe someone here can help. My husband and I are thinking of buying a house. I pulled our credit and my husbands credit score from Experian is a 707 which i understand is good. Mine however is a 579 which i know is really bad. At looking at my credit reports from both Experian and Equifax, I am confused. Lets start with the Equifax report. I have 4 things showing up negative on my Equifax report. The first thing is listed as an open account for a car that was repossesed in 2004. It says I owe $0.00 Balance and $0.00 Past due. Under closed accounts is the same company regarding the same car that was repossesed in 2004. If it is closed and i owe $0.00 why is it still showing as an open account? Ok the next 2 things are what concerns me the most. Under closed accounts I have an entry from Oakwood Mobile Homes. Account was opened in 5/2002 which is correct and first deliquent payment was in 10/2002. Date reported was in 4/2003. The balance is $32,000.00. To my understanding this should be coming off my credit report next year. Under that is another closed account with Vanderbilt Mortgage. This company I have never delt with and to my understanding the bought my loan from Oakwood after the mobile home was repossesed. I have NEVER paid this company anything. They have reported that my account was opened on 7/2000. This is no so. They have reported that I made a $75.00 in 4/2003. This is also not so. They have reported to Equifax that the status is paid as agreed and I have a past due balance of $0.00. But to Experian the reported that I have a past due balance of $22,668.00. To pull my report it looks like I have defaulted 2 mortgages which I have not. What are my options and what should I do?
