I have one serious derog that was successfully removed from EX and EQ. it remains on my TU report.
On my CR, it says "Estimated month and year that this item will be removed: 11/2013"
I patiently waited the entire month of November for my Credit Karma score to jump, reflecting the removal. Nothing.
So in early December, I filed an online dispute. Today, I got the email notification that the dispute has been resolved and to log in to see the results.
Bottom Line: The derog is still there and it still says "Estimated month and year that this item will be removed: 11/2013". The only change I see is an additional "Date Updated: 12/6/2013".
Did I do myself any harm by attempting to dispute this, only to have no change?
Should I just wait this one out?
I don't see any harm done.
If the removal date was 11/2013 it should be removed within a few weeks of that date. Though that has come and gone.
Is this a judgment or a tax lien?
It was a tax lien. I'm a good boy now.
I guess I'll just wait it out. Hopefully it will fall off in December.
Has it been paid?
Laws are different for liens vs judgments.

Yes, it's been paid.
Estimated dates shown by the CRAs are not necessarily the max statutory date after which they must be excluded.
Sometimes the CRAs will provide estimated dates that are months prior to the max statutory date.
Dispute of lack of exclusion would have to be based on continued CR inclusion after the max stutory date.
There is no FCRA violation by continuing to show the adverse information beyond an estimated date alone.
Compare the max statutory date for the lien with their estibmated date prior to pursuing a dispute.
