Since I will be applying for a mortgage in 2015, I decided to have the "dispute" language removed from the one and only account that I have on my CR's that shows IIB. This morning I got a MyFico alert saying that there was an account change on my EQ that changed my score. DROPPED 29 POINTS! Why would this happen? The account is an old HSBC credit card account for $300 I charged off in 2008. Then I go to look in the comments, and the "dispute" is still there! I had run a fresh report to make sure it was done. What can I do?
