Hello,
I have been obsess with my credit score lately and wanting to have a really good score, right now its at 748 from experian. I have about 10 hard inquires that have been on my report for about two years now and have read that after two years it will be removed. Would I be able to call up the reporting agency and ask them to have them be removed even though I authorized them and that they still show on my report
Thanks

Unless they are fraudulent and you have documentation to show they are fraudulent, you will not be successful.
IMO, it's a waste of time. Your 748 isn't a FICO score if you bought it from Experian (or used a service using EX). It would be a FAKO and these scores do sometimes factor inquiries for 2 years. However, lenders primarily use FICO scores and under FICO scoring, inquiries are all ignored at 12 months (even though they continue to report). In other words, anything beyond a year has zero FICO impact. Also, inquiry damage is overrated. I used to have 30+ each on EQ and EX and never saw any ding when adding more. The first [couple] could hurt, but beyond that there's hardly any impact, if any at all.
I currently use Discovercard and keep track of my credit report and scores and I get my scores every month from all three for free, so if I use this website instead the scores may be different? arent the scores coming from the same creditors (experian, transunion, ect...) so wouldn't it be the same or am I missing something...?
Thanks

You can't use this website for an EX score comparison. Experian blocked consumer access to your own EX FICO score a few years ago. You cannot buy it from anywhere, though lenders can get it for you and some CUs out there can provide it for you. EX and FICO are in talks to bring back the EX FICO to myFICO.
If you were to buy your EQ and/or TU FICO from myFICO and compared them to the CMS offered via DIscover, you'd discover that the scores will differ. They will differ because the scores offered via Discover aren't FICO scores. They are FAKOs called a PLUS score. They factor in stuff that FICO does not and vice-versa. No lenders use those PLUS scores. If you look within the T&C of their website you'll see the scores are for "educational purposes only".
Thanks a lot for the infomration!
I think I will cancel the tracker with discover, and start using myFICO, just wish the price was the same as Discover
IMO, that service is OK to track changes to your credit. I think everyone should have a service outside of myFICO to follow the changes to your 3 reports like added inquiries, added accts, acct changes, etc. Just don't rely on it for scores and advice.
Well, I wasnt expecting my score to be that MUCH higher after getting my FICO score!
Are their any promo codes for the annual FICO quaterly montoring?
Thanks
