A creditor has been reporting a debt to an address that I have never lived at and because of this it has now led to many other companies who pull my credit to send letters to. I have advised the Credit reporting agencies to remove this address but they are telling me I need to notify the creditor. I have tried to do this and they still continue to report wrong. Does anyone have a same/template of a letter I can use to request to remove by mail instead of just continuing to call in and ask. Thank you in advance.

Its pretty simple, write the letter requesting all addresses be removed except for your current. Send copy of DL, current util or CC stmt showing your current address along with the letter as proof of address. This should take care of it, with EX you may have to call each of those creditors and update so no one is reporting the false address.
This will not work unless the address has already been fixed by the creditor reporting it and fixed.
You have to call the creditors to get the address fixed, then request it to be removed. They won't remove it while it is attached to a currently reported account.
