Reporting Transunion?

There is an old collections from Verizon. Verizon took care of it and said I was not liable for this debt.

I sent in the documents they need to TransUnion  (Certified Mail) SOMEONE signed for the paperwork on March 14th, I called TransUnion  last week to see if they have removed that account and of COURSE they haven't. They said they never received it. I am about to call these people and start going off...what can I do from here? Can I report TransUnion ? I need to see some action here...and need that removed from my account!

What can I do?

If you get no response from TU within the 30 day period allowed by law for them to investiate then I suggest you escalate this to the CFPB    http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/
