Reposting this if anyone can answer

Here's the situation:  I requested a validation from a ca 1 year ago. I forgot that I even asked for a validation so when the 30 day mark went by last year, I never followed up.  Today, I got a validation letter from them in the mail. It was for a er visit in 2004 which I don't remember and it was nothing more than a name and date of visit, no signature or anything else tying me to this debt.  What would my next move be?

If I were in your shoes, I would send a second DV (a really strong one) and include the original letter highlighting dates, along with a copy of what they think is a validation. If they don't validate, then I would send a copy of all of that material to the CRAs and ask for a deletion.

Your states SOL is what?
