Request CLIs after applying for a new credit card

I was just approved for a Amex card and was wondering if now would be a good be a good time to request a CLI on other cards since i already added an inquiry to my credit report.  I think I've heard that credit inquiries made within a 14 day period count as one inquiry; is this true and would it apply here?  Any insight will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.

Inquiries while searching for the best rates for a car loan and a mortgage can be counted as one within a certain time frame. But this does not apply to credit card applications.

Oh, glad I asked! Thanks for the reply. I'm glad I asked on here, I almost went ahead and asked for increases on two cards. Thanks again for the reply!
