Response from GW...next step?

I sent a GW letter to Sears, and they replied:

"Our records indicate that no adverse information has been reported to the consumer reporting agencies regarding the account referenced in your letter.  Howerver, if you feel an adjustment is necessary, please send a copy of the credit report showing the item(s) in question along with a letter of explanation to:  (address)

I have 2002 and 2003 lates on all three CRA reports for this account.

Do I send a copy of this letter to the CRAs?  Would doing so open three more disputes?

Inquiring mind, but I don't want to be in dispute when I look for a car loan in the next six weeks.  Not to mention that by then I will probably have to dispute Midland again on EQ and EX.

Advice?

atlast.....

They are not hurting.

You can. See below.

More than likely.

Is this a good TL?

Closed or open?

Disputing could remove whole TL if closed.

Re: Response from GW...next step?

It's a good, open TL.  And it has some 60 and 90 day lates from 2002-2003.  They're not hurting me at this point?

I know that 30 days do not hurt after 2 years. 60 and 90 I am unsure about. Maybe someone else will come along who knows.

However ,if it is a good open TL, if it is deleted, I'm sure it'd be easy to have added back.

Personally, I wouldn't dispute with the CRA.......I'd send a copy of CR.....black out all other accounts and information that doesn't pertain to this account to the address they gave you. Let them correct it on their end.
