i did the same thing on my brand new CFF, used my CU member ID instead of account number. Except I sent the bad payment twice! I had thought, huh that's weird, could've sworn I paid this...so I paid it again. I called when I saw the two returned payments and we quickly figured out my mistake. The rep assured me no fee or AA was assessed, and I haven't had an issue since.
