Roofing Company Lien

Hey Guys- I find myself about to get a lien placed on a house that I'm selling due a way-delayed closing. Anyone have any idea how/if that goes on your credit? Also, What has your experience been when you've sold a house and paid off the mortgage? It's one of four mortagaged houses that I own. How I should I expect this to affect my credit? Thoughts? Leins on you CR are the worst!  they will show under public records.........If the buyers have a title company....they wil make you pay before signing.

Every state has their own laws dealing with construction liens....I would call your state and find out. I don't even know if you need to go to court or not.
