SSN & FICO Score

I am a H1B VISA holder. I have had a SSN since Nov 2012.

I have been trying to get a FICO score but have been told I need to have had a SSN for > 2 years to be eligible.

Is this correct ? I can't see this stipulated anywhere on the website

Re: SSN & FICO Score

What are the minimum requirements for a FICO score?

There's really not much to it; in order for a FICO® score to be calculated, a credit report must contain these minimum requirements:

  • At least one account that has been open for six months or more
  • At least one undisputed account that has been reported to the credit bureau with in the past six months
  • No indication of deceased on the credit report (Please note: if you share an account with another person this may affect you if the other account holder is reported deceased).

Edit: above statement is a direct quote from myFICO Credit Basics

Re: SSN & FICO Score

Thank you. I have rung myFICO.com five times and they have told me they can't help me get a FICO score as my SSN is less than 2 years old - the last left me on hold for 30 minutes.
Is there any department I can contact who might be able to assist?

Re: SSN & FICO Score

This seems to be only a myFICO requirement.  Many others are being told the same thing.
