SUB - missed

I don't get it, I thought when I got approved on 9/4 or 9/5 that's when my spending sub starts but apparently I called cause I couldn't see the total spend on cc by pnc. I called and the rep says I'm short $285, but said I spent $1205.04 YTD. 

When I checked my statements, I'm short $211 within the 3 billing cycles. Didn't know they go by billing cycles... I'm so confused...

Some creditors do it by months, others billing cycles.

Growing up I always remember reading "months", now I see "billing cycles" more often...could be cause I am paying more attention to them.
