They are a comsumer database that collects information about rental history. If you rented a place and trashed it it gets reported there and then no landlord will be will ing to rent to you etc. You can get a copy of your rental history like any other database. I happen to run accross then information about 2 years ago when I started trying to correct errors on ly credit file. I did call and got a copy of my rental history - nothing was there but i wanted to make sure that there was were no surprises.
