Same account from CA but different removal dates?

I have a sears account from the CA - LLNV Funding that is scheduled to be removed on 09/08 from my TU report. On my EX report, it is scheduled to be removed on 05/09.

Does this make sense to you guys?

They should be removed 7 years past DOFD.

Has the sears account already dropped off? The sears account is going to be your best source the proper drop off date.

Well it hasn't been dropped off yet. The CA has it as being removed on 09/08 on one CRA and 05/09 on another. It's the same account but diffrent removal dates from the same CA. Therefore you think it should have the same DOFD in thier system?

I just called EX and they told me that the DOFD is 08/02..and Date Opened was 06/03. Removal Date 08/09... TU said they have a Date Opened 06/03 but a removal date of 09/08....wth?

 Who's mistake is this? EX or TU?

 Does the DOFD suppost to be the same for the same account even though the account is reported to diffrent CRAs?

Please help.

I would have stopped him right there and said HOW can I have a DOFD BEFORE an open date?

I would have said your info is incorrect delete it.

The "date open" date that was provided is when the CA opened your account with them. That has nothing to do with the OC or when it will fall off.

The OC sets the DOFD and can't be changed.

If DOFD is 08/02.......it should fall off 08/09  some remove a month ahead of time.

Looks like TU has switched some numbers.

I wouldn't complain though. It is falling going to fall off TU a month ahead of time. Of course, if the CA updates after it falls off, TU may notice that and put it back on.

Is the OC reporting as well? Look to see what dates they have.

How do I contact the OC? This account is almost 20 years old? I was originally opened back in the late 80s!!!
