Score Dropped 34 Points

I disputed 2 inaccuracies on my EQ report and my score dropped 34 points.  Is this normal during the review process?  From what I heard, I thought scores usually go up during the review process (because the negative information is temporarily taken off), not down.

It has to do with what you disputed. Say it was a 10 year old CC and this is your oldest TL...........then your hidtory goes down and your CL is out of scoring also. This would mean that your remaining CL is lower and UTIL higher. You also lose length of history.

thank you for the quick reply.  i received a myfico alert, and the alert description for both the accounts i disputed states "score dropped for the following reason:  account showing multiple late payments and derogs"  which I don't quite understand, because the account wasn't like that in the first place.  i know for a fact it's still under the review process because I submitted the dispute yesterday.
