Hey MyFICO fam!
So, I'm wondering why MyFICO shows a different score than Experian. Experian shows 691 for my EQ F8 and MyFICO shows 696. The date of the MyFICO score is 8/11/22 and Experian is 8/16/22.
Anyone ever have this happen? If so, which one ended up being right?
EDIT: tried to check the EQ score directly, but they only provide a Vantage score. I'm puzzled why they do that instead of giving a FICO score; absolutely weird!
They are both correct - scores only update when there is some alertable event they will eventually match up
Your score can change day by day. You had 1 score on 8/11 and it changed by 8/16/

You supplied the answer to your question: "the MyFICO score is 8/11/22 and Experian is 8/16/22". They're both right. Things change.
Thanks for all of the responses! This is a great community!
I had a feeling something wasn't right so I scoured my report for a change that would've cause a drop but didn't see anything. As a last resort I reactivated my membership with IdentityIQ and pulled the report and the EQ score matched the MyFICO score. I think EX may be wrong this time. I'll see how it plays out over the next few weeks.
