Score Watch alert-- how to get more info?

I just got a decrease in my score, and according to Score Watch: "This score decrease may be caused by this new reason: You recently opened a new credit account." But I haven't opened a new account recently! How can I get more info about this? As far as I can tell, Score Watch doesn't give any other details.

Some of us have accounts w/ other vendors that allow us to pull our credit reports.  So, when we get those alerts we can look up what happened.  Truecredit, privacy matters, natl city, amex...all offer services which allow you to pull your credit reports.  Last I checked, privacy matters was the best deal (if you called an cancelled it --search the forums, you'll know what i mean).

If you don't want to shell out the extra cash to get those reports, ScoreWatch offers the Score Report.  I believe you get 2 for free.  If you haven't pulled the second report, you could pull it.

Order a full set of credit reports asap! Review them carefully, noting any changes.

If you've not opened any new accounts, cel phone, car loans, etc something is going on on your cr's and you need to find out why!

IMO, score watch, or any other monitoring service is just an alert for you to pull your cr.
