I’m giving up on monitoring my credit, I have had nothing but good changes… In 14 days my vantage 3.0 score went down 9 points, then 2 days later up to 50 to 808 then 3 days later up 2 to 810, one week later back down to 754 .. one day later up 10 points to 764 I give up!!
fico!scores have been fairly stable from what I see all in the 770-790 range .
4.2 year credit history 2.7 year credit account age .. 0 inquires on transunion, and equifax, 1 on Experian.
148,500 in available credit, less than 1% utilization
1 personal loan 9600
I vehicle loan 6900
no other balances all paid on time no long term loan recently paid off, no changes to credit report other that 2 inquiry's droped off report last month ... my heart can't take these changes 14 days of WTH
I'm sorry to hear about your score frustration! If you have access to your Fico scores I would ignore (not put much faith in) vantage scores. They fluctuate so often. I can sneeze and I'll lose points on my vantage scores.😜
What I do is, I use MyFico/Fico for scores data and I use Credit Karma/Vantage Scores to get more insight on things on my profile. Often I'll get an alert from MyFico about something with my credit profile that has changed but it's not specific which company the change occurred with. Credit Karma though will specify the company the change was with, providing me the needed insight I was needing.
Doing this has helped me not get so frustrated with my constantly changing Vantage scores. Hopefully doing this will help you too!
There are a few credit card issuers that will provide your Fico 8 or Fico 9 scores monthly complimentary. Some that come to mind are American Express, Discover Credit Score Card website, Experian App/Website, Navy Federal and Wells Fargo. I'm sure there are others that do it I didn't mention. Best wishes to you on your credit journey!
Don't even stress over VantageScores. As long as your FICO scores are stable there is nothing to be concerned with in your credit profile.

IMHO your Vantage scores are not meaningful. Since you indicate they are causing you frustration, my advice would be to stop paying attention to them. Your FICO scores are the ones that matter.
As others have said Vantage scores are not meaningful. Your FICO scores will cause you frustration as well because they will go up and down with debt or no debt, its part of the game. I use to look at Ficos almost everyday and than I stopped when I went down to 780s after pay off a loan and being debt free. There will always be something that will change, I am more about the learning about changes like: aging of debt, inq hits periods, etc....Lessons learned

Why do you care about Vantage 3.0 scores? The only Vantage score that matters to you is the Vantage 4.0 which is used by Synchrony for your PayPal card, and they give your Vantage score 4.0 every month for free on the Sync website. Your Discover card gives you a free FICO 8, and you can sign up for a monthly free FICO 8 EX on the Ex website. If you're that focused on credit card scores, sign up for either MyFico or Creditcards.com which provide you a variety of options for FICO scores. Vantage 3.0s are only of any value FOR TRENDING PURPOSES OVER TIME to people who are new to rebuilding, and don't want to easte money they could better use to pay off debt. Once you really understand scoring, you will do what I do and laugh at the wild swings I occasionally see in my Vantage 3 scores. Currently, I am anywhere from 805 to 721 on my "official" Vantage 3.0 score. My FICO 8 ranges from 755-779 depending upon CRA and credit card.
If constant monitoring of your credit scores is causing you stress, then don't do it. Delete all the apps so you're not tempted to check them every minute, and disable notifications so you're not constantly alerted. Then set a day each month (or quarter) when you check your scores, set an alert so you don't forget, and then just ignore them until that day comes.
It's like people who watch the stock market. Some people can handle huge swings, and not worry about it. Other people stress about every up and down. Sounds like you may be in the second category, when it comes to credit scores. It's not always easy, but a little distance may be the solution.

A very insightful (and thoughtful) response. By far, the best (imho)!
Ive moved this thread to general credit since we aren't discussing Fico scores.
As far as VS3 goes, a fly hits the wall in Australia and mine change.
Vantages gonna Vantage.
As already mentioned, Vantage scores provide little value, as few lenders use it during the approval process. Following is a great reason why you shouldn't care about those scores. I just pulled my TU Vantage 3.0 score and received this as a reason why my score isn't higher. My largest credit limit is $30K, followed by $29.7K. While these aren't ginormous, they are small limits either.
Bankcard accounts include credit cards and charge cards from a bank and are frequently revolving accounts. Revolving accounts allow you to carry a balance and your monthly payment will vary, based on the amount of your balance. The largest credit limit among all the open bankcard or revolving accounts in your credit file is low. Having higher limits gives you access to credit without seeking new loans or becoming overextended which are triggers for higher risk.
