Today I decided to reapply for a mortgage. I was feeling confident because myfico ( a supposably accurate and legitimate company) said my scores were high enough to apply. Didn't think I would have anything to worry about, but to my dismay my scores wefe 70 points lower than what has been reported with myfico.com. Ehat a let down. I will be calling costumer service for a refund.
This is pointed out in many threads. Do not expect scores to be the same unless you can confirm that they were generated at the same time using the same scoring model and the same source. It's also pointed out in this sticky in the Understanding FICO Scoring subforum:

Always do your due diligence before making any purchase.

Thanks but no matter how you put it this site is very misleading.
I won't argue that; that said, the EQ score is identical to the one on a mortgage tri-merge; however, TU/EX are as noted completely different much to my personal dismay.
49 flavors doesn't even take into account internal scoring models.
How our repayment pattern can be used to predict risk/profitability is a valuable formula.Too much transparency and people would be working the system, LOL!

Yes, God forbid we actually pay things back or behave as an ideal risk.....
