Scores are not accurate.

Today I decided to reapply for a mortgage. I was feeling confident because myfico ( a supposably accurate and legitimate company) said my scores were high enough to apply. Didn't think I would have anything to worry about, but to my dismay my scores wefe 70 points lower than what has been reported with myfico.com. Ehat a let down. I will be calling costumer service for a refund. Smiley Sad

Re: Scores are not accurate.

The scores here, are absolutely real and accurate. However as was explained to you in another post there are 49 different FICO scoring models.
Fico 8 12/9/17
Equifax 850, TransUnion 842 10/30/17 , Experian 842 12/11/17 . AAOA 12 years Oldest 20
No inquires since 2014
All credit reports frozen
Fico 8 Equifax Bankcard 866 12/27/16

Re: Scores are not accurate.

This is pointed out in many threads.  Do not expect scores to be the same unless you can confirm that they were generated at the same time using the same scoring model and the same source.  It's also pointed out in this sticky in the Understanding FICO Scoring subforum:

http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Understanding-FICO-Scoring/Difference-in-Scores/td-p/2384297

Always do your due diligence before making any purchase.

I won't argue that; that said, the EQ score is identical to the one on a mortgage tri-merge; however, TU/EX are as noted completely different much to my personal dismay.

Re: Scores are not accurate.

49 flavors doesn't even take into account internal scoring models.

How our repayment pattern can be used to predict risk/profitability is a valuable formula.Too much transparency and people would be working the system, LOL!

Starting Score: 675
Current Score: EX 753 FICO, EQ 737FICO, TU 738
Goal Score: 776 FICO
