So what?

So what does everyone do to check their FICO scores from all three CRAs?  Do you purchase from MYFICO at 48 bucks a pop or do you do something else?  Seems like it can be quite expensive to check all three fico scores on a regular basis.  Suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: So what?

Right now I use EQ for the scorewatch and buy from myfico scores with coupon.
I don't buy them all at once though...I spread em out. I'm not in a real hurry to lift my scores.
I'd like to know a better way, I gotta save my $ for bills Smiley Very Happy

Re: So what?

I'm new here but one of the things i've figured out is that if you go to truecredit.com (walmart) you can look at FAKO (not FICO) scores, and be alerted to any change made to your CR instantly via email. The scores aren't 100% accurate, as they are calculated with a different formula, but they are close, AND if you see that several changes have occured on your CR you may decide it's time to order all 3 FICO's from this site. truecredit costs 11.21 per month (only through walmart tho) but it's as close to realtime as it can get and if you're working hard on your credit it may be worth it, otherwise maybe just order FICO's twice a year or something. Hope this helps.

Re: So what?

You should really only check your real Fico score once every quarter, any other way is just way too expensive..even with coupon codes. Use true credit to monitor your files and Buy Fico scores just to know where you stand.

TC seems the way to go to monitor, I orig thought they just did fako scores.

I don't feel the need to check daily but I may try TC to see how I like it.

Re: So what?

"Credit Secure" from amex. You can pull your reports everyday. (Fako scores, but the updates and information updates are accurate)
