Soft-pull PREAPPROVALs - Updated 4/20/21

I was able to get the Walmart Pre-approval link to work on my iPhone.

It wouldn't work with Safari, but when I opened the link with Firefox, it worked!

Just an FYI.

Pre-approved for the MC, but my bankruptcy MOC isn't until next month so can't do anything until then.

Something else I read on Cap1's site, scrolled down to somewhere and it stated "Will only pull your credit report once"....does that mean 1 hp ...period? .... or does it STILL mean 1 pull per cr?  lol, idk  but I'm not doing it either, been there done that, closed it.

Sux!  well, at least you got the card, wear it out!  So I guess what they meant was they'd only pull once for the mc and if not qualified they'd check to see about the sc without doing secondary pulls.

Yep, but I haven't been spreeing so hopefully it won't hurt too bad.

Haven't seen it posted on here before, and the last time I thought about opening one, there was no pre-qualification option.

Have some medical, dental, and vet bills coming up and went to their site to see who accepted it. Clicked through to get more information and it offered to Pre-qualify me. Lowes had recently turned me away on a prequal so I was skeptical, but my curiosity got the better of me. Selected dental as type and put 1200 as procedure estimate. They pulled my info using last 4 of ssn and I updated some info. Came back with approval. I didn't go through with it because I'm not ready, but I may shoot higher next time to see if they approve or counter.

Always see questions about whether someone might be approved, now you can see for yourself.
