STATE TAX LIEN
Hello would anyone care to share with me whats the first step of handling a state tax lien on my credit report. Im very confused. I recieved a letter in the mail about an overdue child support payment in July 2007. The letter says I must pay on or before Oct 14, 2005. Thats odd because its past 2005!
I called the 1-800 number and they told me I owe way more compared to what I was looking at on my credit report. How would I go about having this properly investigated and then paying off what I owe. thanks!
