Statement closing date

So i need to show a balance on a card as i just took a point hit from no balance showing. How soon after the due date does the statement close again? Im trying to get under the wire.

do the points come back one it shows usage?

You can check your account online to find the exact day the statement period ends for the card you're looking to report a balance on. By guessitmation I assume it is in the 3-7 day window from when the due date is to when the billing period ends for the next statement to generate

 

Can also call, send secure message or chat online to find out depending on the bank

1. The number of days between the due date and the statement date varies with each lender. Some lenders have different statement dates within the same account, depending on the number of days in the month.

 

2.  Yes the points come right back.
