Student Loans

Hello. First time poster so take it easy on me. I have 13 student loans outstanding. Each of these loans were taken out at seperate time (semesters) and have individual account numbers. In 2002, I was 90 days late on the student loan that was being paid at the time. However, now they have shown ALL 13 account as having been 90+. I don't think that that is either fair or legal. Does anyone have any experience in this area?

Thanks!

Re: Student Loans

You are probably stuck with them if they are valid. The Higher Education Act requires that all
student loans report for the full seven years.

Re: Student Loans

Welcome!!

Are the student loans linked together?

Without more information, it is difficult to say what is going on.

Re: Student Loans

The one 90 day was valid. However the only "link" they have should be me as the borrower. When looking at my credit report, they each have their own number.

Re: Student Loans
