Received a summons in the mail the other day requesting to File an Answer with the Plantiff (Arrow Financial Services--WAMU). Any thoughts on how to handle this would be welcomed. Its for a a little less than 2500.00.....The SOL may also be up, or at least almost there.
Thanks,

Thanks,
You need to provide more information.
What is the nature of the debt they are suing you for, what state are they suing you in, in which state did you incur the debt and when was the last payment you made on the account?
Even if the SOL is up, you must file an answer to the complaint in order to prevent a default judgment from being entered against you.
You should definitely consult an attorney. And as the other posted noted, you need to make sure you file some sort of responsive pleading within 20 days in order to avoid a Default.

Yep, OP should get a lawyer YESTERDAY. Technical errors in response to a summons can lead to a default judgement in favor of the plaintiff, and a legal clock is ticking.
